Karen Ashby Thomas was born into business – literally. She’s been around it her whole life and in her own words, “Business is in my blood and it is what I do.”
Growing up in a family business she quickly mastered a multitude of skills in all areas of business, from sales and marketing, to operations, to financials and more. It got to the point that whenever anyone went on vacation, no matter what role they played in the organization, Karen could fill in for them.
Her lesson in versatility that came at such a young age, served her well on her career path. In the area of business operations, Karen progressed from working with small businesses all the way to managing a very large, top real estate company and then nearly two million square feet of commercial space with her team as Operations Director of a significant real estate developer. She has also master the complete formula for business launches, and managed multimillion dollar budgets, developed process and policies and earned her international Business Continuity Credentials for a national, public company.
As a result, Karen is an expert “big picture” coach, skilled at working with all sized businesses, from the entrepreneur to companies with 50-1000 employees. She credits her hands-on experience in the family business with her ability to guide solopreneurs to shopkeepers to corporate leaders to their next levels. Karen is able to look at all the facets of a business holistically, identify what’s working and what is not, and then engineer a complete solution, driving her clients to success with accountability, discipline, and strength. Karen always leads from the footsteps of balance, driving and charting her own path forward.
Karen, with her family, resides in the Las Vegas Metroplex. She is an avid golfer who enjoys travel, music and spending time with her son.
