One thing that can have a big impact on people’s attitudes is their self-talk
Research shows that people who start off their day by talking negatively about themselves are more likely to have low self-esteem, anxiety, and depression. These people are also more likely to be angry or irritable with other people throughout the day.
On the contrary, people who have positive self-talk are happier overall in their lives. They are usually more optimistic about their future, plus they tend to have healthy relationships with themselves and others.
Positive self-talk affects both our internal and external lives.
People who talk kindly to themselves in the morning always feel better throughout the day and are more likely to succeed at work and in their other life activities than those who don’t.
