Are you and your team all on the same page? There is a tangible, powerful benefit to getting everyone on the team pointed in the same direction. Over the course of three decades I have had the privilege to conduct Team Advances with teams of all sizes. What I have found is that often, leaders are moving along at a rapid pace with a vision in their mind of where the team should be heading, but they don’t slow down long enough to bring their team into that picture. The three tips below will get everyone on the same page:1. Start with Vision As Wallace D. Wattles shares in the book, The Science of Getting Rich, one must first cast a Vision of where they desire to head, and then waddle toward it. Prior to your team advance, you can have each member of your team write out the vision they hold for the team. Give them a prompt to start their creative juices flowing: “It is December 31, 2021, and we are so happy and grateful now that…” Consider the common elements you find in each of their individual visions, along with your own. What is the most powerful combination you can bring together? We find this exercise to be a strong foundation to guide your day – and ultimately the coming year – together. 2. Continue with Connection So, take the time to incorporate some team-building exercises that foster connection on a personal level. This time is well spent and may actually leave you, as the Leader, feeling more invested and grateful as well. 3. Elevate with Expertise Before you know it, 2021 will be here! We love conducting Team Advances and we have a proven process that generates synergy between your team and success for the year ahead! Email us for more information at info@mcleaninternational.com |
